How to Write Sonnets
Sonnets are composed of:
1. 14 lines
2. Rhyme Scheme of: ababcdcdefefgg
3. Are usually about love in conflict
4. Use iambic pentameter = 10 syllables per line (syllables 2,4,6,8, and 10 are stressed)
Examples are found on pages 787 and 818
*You can do your sonnet about Act III, Act IV or ANYTHING that you love -- including hobbies, food, animals, etc!
